About PM SHRI

Developing Exemplary Schools for a Rising India

PM SHRI (PM Schools for Rising India) is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme of the Government of India. The scheme was approved in September 2022 and is intended to strengthen more than 14,500 existing schools managed by Central Government, State/UT Governments and local bodies, including KVS and NVS. PM SHRI schools are envisioned as exemplar schools that demonstrate important aspects of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The mission emphasizes welcoming, safe and stimulating learning environments, appropriate infrastructure, diverse learning experiences, inclusive practices, 21st-century skills, sports, arts, ICT, sustainability, strong school leadership and meaningful student participation. The official scheme also expects PM SHRI schools to provide leadership and share effective practices with neighbouring schools.

ERDC Solution is an independent education-support and consulting organization. We help schools assess needs, plan learning environments, identify suitable solutions, implement approved requirements, train teachers and students, deploy mentors where available, and provide continued technical and academic support.
